In the beginning of 2012, the IRS came out with a great, new program called Streamlined Installment Agreements where they’re allowing people that owe under $50,000 six years to pay their IRS debt. Interest and penalties keep rising, but this allows us to get the IRS off your back so that you can work a plan that you can afford.
It might be that you still can’t afford it, still can’t afford to pay it over six years. That’s fine. We can do a regular installment agreement with what you can actually afford to pay.
