Why Hire a Tax Professional

I’m tax attorney Steve Klitzner, and my practice is limited solely to representing individuals and businesses with IRS problems.

Very often, prospective new clients come to me and they tell me that they don’t really want to handle this themselves because they may be dealing with a local revenue officer or revenue agent, but they’re are afraid that if they hire me, it may backfire. The IRS may punish them.

And actually, the opposite is true because very often the IRS is happy to have a qualified tax professional working on the case because they know now that things are going to get done. They know that everything that they’re legally required to have, they’re going to get and that we can find a way to resolve the case quicker.

So please, never worry. This is America, and in America you have a right to counsel and the IRS knows that.
